Help!! My wedding colors don’t match.

Selecting wedding colors that reflect you, your fiance, and the season can be a difficult task!  Wedding magazines provide you with the hottest colors for the season but doesn’t provide you with coordinating colors.  I’m here to help…I’m providing you with the top 5 wedding colors for 2017 AND the perfect colors to mix in!

AQUA

Aqua is a greenish-blue color.  Some refer to this color as cyan.

Want a feminine & romantic look to your wedding?  Pair Aqua with pastel shades of pink, lilac, peach and yellow.  Want to make your wedding more bold or masculine?  Choose shades of gold, dark green, navy, plum or black. Aqua is a great color to use for any season.

BLUSH

Blush is a medium tone red-violet color but most refer to it as a pale pink.

Blush is such a pretty color but can easily be “washed out” with other colors.  The best colors to match with your blush colored wedding are: Navy, Chocolate, Olive, Black & Burgundy, Teal and Emerald. Blush could be used during any season.

CORAL

Coral is in the pink family with hints of orange.

Coral really pops with teal, grey, white, ivory and yellow. Coral makes a great color palette for spring or summer weddings.

FRENCH BLUE

French Blue is a beautiful deep grey blue.

I am in LOVE with this color! This color pairs well with many colors but I would recommend peach, blush, purple, white, grey, black and gold. This color will suit a fall or winter wedding perfectly.

SAGE

Sage is a greenish gray color resembling that of dried sage leaves.

Sage is the perfect color for those planning a rustic or country themed wedding.  This color pairs well with rust, dark green, charcoal, brown, cream and tan.  Sage looks great at fall weddings.

Bottom Line…be creative and have fun with your colors.  The wedding process is demanding and draining at times, enjoy every moment and don’t stress yourself.  It will all work out in the end and most importantly you are marrying the person you love!

Happy Wedding Planning!
